Sconza Candy Company — A Tradition of Quality and Service
Our History
In 1939, Sconza Candy Company opened its doors and began producing high-quality, delicious candies. At first, Vincent and Mary Sconza made peanut brittle, their only product, in their kitchen and sold it directly to consumers. Within a few months, however, they outgrew the kitchen. With painstaking attention to detail and using the finest ingredients, Vincent Sconza created a line of candies that, while changing and expanding over the years, still reflects that initial care. In 1948, Sconza began to produce panned candies, which have since become the company's trademark. Our collections of jawbreakers, Jordan almonds, Boston beans, and burnt peanuts have expanded to include premium chocolate and yogurt-coated items. Sixty-five years after Vincent Sconza opened his doors, the Sconza family is producing candies that can be found in stores across North America.
Our Expertise.
Sconza Candy Company has a long tradition of working with business partners to produce innovative and popular confections. Although we produce and sell candies under our own label, we also have the capability and expertise to work with other companies to assist them in creating products that we, or they, can package under their own labels. A step beyond private labeling, we can work collaboratively with our customers, helping them to envision and formulate their own candies, including specialty products like low-carbohydrate and sugar-free candies, and organic and natural products.
